Room of loud thoughts
We’re so covered-up, we hold our feelings deep inside ourselves. Powerful-powerless, happy-sad, fighters and cowards, loved...The fight we are leading is ours only. It’s hard. It is a fight we carry hidden deeply with a wide smile.
Where did Room of loud thoughts come from? While I was pregnant I had to bed rest and when you’re resting the time passes more slowly. At some moments there is only you and the room, that is your frame and freedom. Therefore the Room of loud thoughts. I had nothing left but my thinking out loud, patience, fight and hoping...
Through that experience I realised we women are extremely strong and that bringing new life to the world gives us an amazing role and responsibility only we can perceive and sustain. Together with Vid a desire to show a series of photographs starting with my portrait was born. It’s difficult for me to show my emotions or speak about them, I can only transform them in a work of art. That will be an image of me. My image and my self-portrait photograph will form a whole. What I feel, where I am and what was deeply conceived under the wide smile.
